Black & Green Bean Stir-Fry~
Just in time for fresh green beans this stir-fry is sure to please. No, there is no typo, the recipe calls for a head of iceberg lettuce, and yes you are going to cook it, just another touch of Asian influence.
Serves: 4
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 6 shallots*, sliced thin
  • 1- 14.1 ounce can straw mushrooms, drain off liquid and pat dry
  • ½ pound green beans*
  • 1 cup black beans, precooked
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3 tablespoons Spice it Up! oil*, shaken well
  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce*, shredded
Instructions
  1. In wok or large skillet, melt butter and add shallots, mushrooms and green beans cooking until beans turn bright in color and become tender. Then add black beans, garlic and Spice it Up! oil tossing until well combined.
  2. Add shredded lettuce to the top and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and serve.
